QR POS & Inventory — Installation

Creates the database tables and your first Manager account.

Server requirements

✔ PHP 8.2 or newer (found 8.2.30)
✔ PDO MySQL extension (pdo_mysql)
✔ mbstring extension
✔ config/ folder is writable
✔ database/schema.sql present

1. Database (create an empty MySQL database first)

Copy the exact names from cPanel → MySQL® Databases. On cPanel both names start with your cPanel username and an underscore (e.g. if your cPanel login is abc: abc_pos and abc_posuser). Use the password of the database user, not your cPanel password.

Add starter categories (Makeup, Stationery, Kitchen Items, Toys, Household Items, Accessories, Other Products) Load sample data for testing — ~50 demo items in 5 categories and a demo cashier, all labelled SAMPLE. No sales are created. Leave unticked for a clean live store.
